Being Spiritually Minded

In order to receive the things of the "Spirit of GOD" we must be "Spiritually Minded." In order to be "Spiritually Minded." we must first have the Spirit of GOD dwelling in us. Jesus told Nicodemus, "Accept a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD." "Accept a Man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of GOD."

In order to receive the things of the "Spirit of GOD" we must be "Spiritually Minded." In order to be "Spiritually Minded." we must first have the Spirit of GOD dwelling in us. Jesus told Nicodemus, "Accept a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD." "Accept a Man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of GOD." The Kingdom of GOD is a Spiritual Kingdom and we can't see it, walk in it, be led by the Spirit of GOD, be taught by the Spirit of GOD, or hear from the Spirit of GOD when we are carnal or natural minded. I Corinthians 2:14 is a key scripture in the Word of GOD ("But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of GOD, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned"). This is talking about "us" (The Children of GOD) not Sinner Man. Every time you go natural or carnal minded, you cannot receive anything from the Spirit of GOD. That is a part of the enemy's mission, to keep us in a carnal state so that we can't receive what GOD has for us. Each time we go carnal or natural minded we are also no longer walking in the Kingdom of GOD. The Spirit will teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance but only if we are being Spiritually Minded. Listed below are some questions to consider and after them the Scriptures for the lesson:

  1. Are you looking for GOD to move on your behalf?

  2. Are you asking GOD why?

  3. Are you looking for GOD in all things?

  4. Are you trying to walk in the Kingdom of GOD daily?

  5. Do you know who you are in GOD?

  6. Are you asking to be led by the Spirit of GOD in all things?

  7. Are you aware of the constant ongoing warfare within you, between spiritual and natural/carnal, and how are you trying to develop your spiritual mind?

  8. Can you recognize the enemy?

  9. Can you recognize self?

  10. When people come to you or you come in contact with people, are you asking GOD why? Also, what do you want me to do with them (i.e., listen, speak, encourage, water, plant?

  11. What are you doing daily to become more Spiritually Minded? "Born Again"

  18. John was talking about a new Life Born of the Spirit of GOD!

  29. Galatians 6:1 (We which are in a Spiritual state, restore our Brother)

  30. Galatians 6:8 (Ministers today that are speaking worldly)

  31. Ephesians 1:12-13 (The Word of GOD converting us to Spiritual. We can't receive the Spirit until we believe)

  32. Ephesians 1:17 (As we receive the Spirit of GOD, we will receive these things by the Spirit (Spiritual state))

  33. Ephesians 2:1-2 (This is the spirit that is in man and "not" the Spirit of GOD)

  34. Ephesians 4:3-4 (The Holy Ghost/Spirit of GOD)

  35. Colossians 2:5 (We the Children of GOD have the same Spirit, which is the Spirit of GOD)

  36. I Tim 4:1 (Holy Ghost speaking to us)

  37. Hebrews 9:14 (read verses 1 - 28 afterwards)

  38. James 4:5 (read verses 1 - 12 afterwards)

  39. 1 Peter 1:11 (read verses 1 - 16 afterwards)
