My brethren discussions have been had with some of the Apostles concerning “Resurrection.” We have also gone to the scriptures and researched the Word of GOD. Everything given to The Children of GOD, should be based on “Righteous Teaching (Teaching according to the word of GOD).”
I Corinthians Chapter 15 lays out “resurrection” concerning The Children of GOD and the “resurrection of Christ.” The portion of the scriptures that we have talked about is concerning all to be resurrected (Children of GOD and Sinnerman). Resurrection is there to put an end to death 1 Cor 15:54 – 55. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is Death (1Cor 15:26). The Children of GOD will not be able to die (Everlasting Life) and Sinnerman is no longer able to die, be in the grave, or in hell, but is now in The Lake of Fire (eternal damnation). Hell, and Death will also be cast in The Lake of Fire.
All who have died will be “resurrected” Saint and Sinnerman (but at different times), see John 5:28 -29 “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation (also read John 11:1 -45, Daniel 12:2).” For all must put off corruptible (flesh or this body) that they may put on incorruptible (1 Cor 15:35 – 44). This means also that they must be resurrected (Christ is the “Resurrection,” John 11:17 -44 and John 11:25). But The Children of GOD will be taking on incorruptible to eternal life and to be “Caught up with Christ,” while others will be resurrected and become spirit/soul and condemned to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
Flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of GOD (we must be spirit) and flesh and blood will not be tormented forever in the Lake of Fire (the second death), “Where their worm will never die, and the fire will not be quenched (Mark 9:48).” Our flesh is what goes into the grave and is what will come out of the grave (resurrected 1 Cor 15:21-22). But for The Children of GOD, we shall be changed to incorruptible which is a spiritual being. Even we which are alive, when the LORD cracks the sky, flesh (corruptible will change) and will become incorruptible (spiritual beings – 1 Cor 15:51 - 54).
The “Resurrection” for The Children of GOD is covered in I Cor 15:12 -55
1 Cor 15:12 - 22 Talks about Christ resurrection from the dead and how the dead in Christ shall be resurrected that they might inherit the Kingdom of GOD.
In studying the Book of Revelation, this is when GOD began to put everything together that he was showing me the first time. The LORD was revealing unto to me that this Resurrection of The Dead does not apply to us, “The Children of GOD” (all the Saints that were in Christ before us, the Saints that are in Christ now and the saints that will sleep in Christ up until the time he returns 1 Cor 15:18, 15:20).
The Children of GOD will not stand in The RESURRECTION of The Dead in The Book of Revelation as we, The Children of GOD and all which remain have already been resurrected and also Caught Up 1 Cor 15:51 – 54).
There are two resurrections that take place in The Book of Revelation, and both times it is for the dead.
- Revelation 20: 5 – These are the Saints that came out of the Great Tribulation (Rev. 20: 4 – I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and of The Word of GOD, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands:…..Verse 5 “This is the First resurrection.” Also, it states that the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were ended. Rev 20:6 The first resurrection…These died for the witness of Christ during The time of tribulation. They shall reign with Christ for a thousand years.
- Revelation 20:11 – 15 The second Resurrection of The DEAD. Rev. 20 vs 12 – And I saw the dead, Rev 20: 12 and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works (the dead are being judged according to their works). Rev. 20:13 and the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. Read 20:14, now Rev 20:15 and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Our names are written in the “lamb’s Book of Life” and have been since before the foundation of the world). We that have received “Life” (Jesus Christ) don’t stand in judgment with the dead, we are going through judgment right now (1 Peter 4:17-18).
These resurrections are of “the dead.” This does not apply to us as we have been caught up on “Lord’s day,” by the Spirit of GOD. This is confirmation for us by The Word of GOD and The Spirit of God. 1 John 5:7 - There are three that bear record in heaven (The Spirit of GOD bearing this record to us). This same trumpet or voice as of a trumpet spoken of by two different Apostles at two different places in The Word of GOD, is the very moment we are caught up or translated….
“Translated” and “Caught up” are one and the same (we are going from “natural/flesh to becoming a Spiritual being”). We that are spiritual/Born again and have been given eternal life, shall not stand in these resurrections of the dead.
*For the understanding of “translated,” see Hebrews 11:5 as our Brother Enoch was translated. Elijah was “translated;” did not die but was taken up.
This is the record and confirmation by the Spirit of GOD through the Word of GOD, written by his Holy Apostles that the Word is true!
Revelation Chapter 1, versus 1 -2. The Lord gave this to John to write unto us while he was on the Isle of Patmos.
Revelation Chapter 1 verse 10 John was in the Spirit and heard a great voice as of a trumpet. John had been translated or caught up on “The Lord’s day.” If John is translated on the Lord’s day, we also shall be translated or caught up (go from natural/flesh to Spirit) at that same time on The Lord’s day. We shall also ride with the LORD as the armies of his Saints. Rev. 7:9 we are already caught up and standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Rev. 19:14 – we shall be riding with the LORD as the armies of his Saints!
Revelation 4:1 The Lord’s day - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
John was “translated or caught up,” on The Lord’s day (so shall we also be caught up).
The Lord’s day - I Corinth 15:51 -52 Behold I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
We don’t die, we sleep and shall be resurrected (dead in Christ) and then we which remain shall be caught up (1 Thess. 4:17 - meet The LORD in the air and there shall we ever be (also read vs 16). The dead in Christ are being changed from natural/flesh to spiritual and we are being changed from natural/flesh to spiritual. We must still put off this flesh in order to be caught up.
I Thess 4:16 “The Lord’s day” – For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arch angel, and with the trump of God:
We don’t want to be found in the resurrection of the dead in The Book of Revelation, as this means one of two things. 1.) You went through the great tribulation and were beheaded for the witness of Christ, or 2.) Your name is not found in The lamb’s Book of Life.
GOD revealed this to his Holy Apostles by his Spirit and GOD wants to reveal things to us now by his Spirit if we will seek his face and search the scriptures for the truth! GOD is also confirming the scriptures to his Children! That we all speak the same things and that we all teach the same things (by his Spirit)!
