Warfare comes in many forms. That is why we must recognize the “wiles” of the enemy. The enemy is looking for your weaknesses. How you might be tempted. What does it take to push your buttons? He will use those closest to us to attempt to destroy us (a prophet is without honor, except in his own household among his own kin). One of the greatest examples we see of Spiritual warfare takes place in the Book of Matthew (Matt. 4: 1 – 11).
If we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. If we yield our spirit unto the Spirit of GOD, we can be led and taught by the Spirit of GOD.
GOD is not interested in your flesh! GOD is interested in your spirit (GOD is a Spirit and those that worship him, must worship him in Spirit and in truth). Know ye not that flesh and blood shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD. You cannot serve or please GOD in your flesh. It is impossible.
Note: “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling
down of strongholds.”
