Brethren,
In the Apostles meeting today we talked about a lot of things. The most important thing we should have taken away from our conversation is, we must be spiritual, Spirit lead, walk in the Spirit AT ALL TIMES. We are spiritual. We are GOD's children. Nothing that we do should be done from a natural or carnal mindset. If so, then it is us the natural man and not GOD. We can only serve our FATHER by the Spirit of GOD. GOD is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. It is the only way.
Worshipping GOD is an everyday thing and not just a Sunday event for GOD's children. It is an act of walking holy before GOD, communing with GOD, praising Him and glorifying Him. Sunday service of worship is only an extension of what every child of GOD should be doing daily. It's a daily inward joy and an outward manifestation of our love, honor and gratefulness to GOD for His grace of salvation through Jesus our LORD.
We are the Church, but we operate at times within the walls of a place sanctified for the purpose of us coming together to honor GOD, glorify GOD and worship GOD as a body. We call this place the Church also, the House of GOD. It is not for “the world,” but for the Children of GOD and those seeking to become. Yes, tares/sinnerman will come among us but that doesn't change the fact that the House of GOD is for His Children. We are to let our light shine, love sinnerman and be the example that they may also glorify our FATHER, but things sanctified for GOD and His Children are not for “the world.”
There are traditions which Paul talks about in the Word. They are by the Word of GOD, so they abide in the Church. Can other traditions abide in the House of GOD? Yes, but only by the leading of the Spirit of GOD. Not according to man’s ideals, thoughts and feelings. That is why the Church has so much confusion, because of man, his ideals and not GOD's plan. If it's not from GOD, or His Spirit, it has no place in the House of GOD. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. Be careful what you allow.
”The world” has evolved over time. Some good and some not so good. As a Church we will incorporate some things from the world as the Spirit leads for the operation of day to day business. But in no way is the Church to change to satisfy the world or to accommodate its ways. What we miss is, “the world” needs to change to GOD, though we know that won’t happen. We are to uphold the standards of GOD's Word at all cost and not compromise. GOD changes not. He is the same, today, yesterday and forever.
When it comes to dealing with anyone, our job is not to try and change them but to tell them the truth. The truth will make you free. If they are going to change it will come from GOD. Plant or water is our job. GOD gives the increase. Hearing the Word and faith is what they need. And we know that “The Word” is only for sheep. My sheep know my voice and no other will they follow.
This journey for us is about staying spiritual, our salvation and feeding sheep not goats. We need to stop trying to give Holy things to those that can't understand or receive them. A carnal mind can't receive the things of GOD and Holy things are not for dogs, nor Godly pearls for swine. Spirit and natural don't and can't mix. This applies to the world and Children of GOD. Goats will always be goats. They cannot change. Sheep will always be sheep from the foundation of the world.
Remember. We have GOD's Spirit, so we may know the things of GOD. There should be no confusion or guessing. All that we do should be by the Word of GOD or by the Spirit of GOD leading us. If we are not on one accord, someone is not listening to the Spirit of GOD. Lean not to your own understanding.
