Women in the church as ministers holding leadership positions or being over men in the church has been and will continue to be a controversial subject within the House of GOD for the religious world and for those that are not spiritual minded. Also for those that don't rightly divide the Word of GOD/Truth. Many will choose to overlook this topic, and many would dare not to speak it, as they are worried about membership, tithes, offending some, following after the world and for many other reasons. The main reason however is, they lack a spiritual understanding of the Word of GOD and they are not rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
For the church to function by the Word, it is the responsibility of the Apostles of the Most High GOD to provide, “Righteous Teaching” to The House of GOD and the Children of GOD. In order to do so, the Apostles themselves must have a true understanding of what the word says. We must go back to the beginning, the Book of Genesis.
In Genesis 1:27 it teaches, GOD created man. He created them male and female. When GOD created “Man,” they were on an equal plane (male and female) but because of disobedience to GOD, that changed. Why? In Genesis chapter 3 (read 1–7) and we see an event that took place when the woman (Gen 3:6), disobeyed GOD; and when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave unto her husband with her; and he did eat. She took of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and did eat. She also, gave unto her husband Adam and he did eat (Man’s disobedience to GOD).
Because of this transgression and disobedience, GOD the Father punished the man and woman. Gen 3:13 God said unto the woman, “What is this that thou hast done?” Genesis 3:16, GOD said unto the woman, “and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall have rule over thee.” This is what GOD set in order, changing the relationship and the order of them being equal. There are no other scriptures that support the order not changing. The man was also punished, Genesis 3:17 -19.
I Timothy 2:14 Paul writes, “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in transgression. So we see this was not just old testament, but being understood by the Holy Apostles in The New Testament that this was the order that GOD had set because of the events that had transpired in Genesis.
In this modern world and some in the House of GOD are trying to make the woman’s role about “women’s lib,” or “women’s equality." The Sisters have left that blessed honored role our Father has appointed them to, and embraced this ungodliness. This is a trick of the enemy and a lie from hell. In the House of GOD, our focus and understanding must be based on the Word of GOD (the Holy Bible), and what the Spirit of GOD says or reveals. So If any man speak, let him speak as the Oracles of GOD, (I Peter 4:11).
Today we see woman in the Church as Apostles, Pastors and Bishops. GOD through Jesus our Lord chose the Apostles, ordained and set them apart for the work. For this is where the Master began to set things in order concerning leadership for the Church and the children of GOD in the New Covenant. The book of Matthew 10:1-4 Christ choose twelve (12) men to be Apostles. No women were chosen or considered. (Also reference Luke 6:13–16.) Christ handpicked these twelve (12) men to lead the Church, first Apostles. Acts 1:15 -26 shows us that two men were considered for Apostleship to take Judas place. Pay particular attention to vs. 24 -26, Matthias a man was chosen. In Acts 13:1-3, Paul and Barnabas were selected to be Apostles, two men. Did our LORD make a mistake or leave something out in this action? I don’t think so.
There are no examples or scriptural basis of any woman in The Old or New testament being called or selected to be an Apostle of The Most High GOD. They were all men. Why? Again , GOD's order concerning the Church. In I Cor 11:1–3, Paul as given by the Spirit of GOD/Holy Ghost stated how it was and to be, past, present and future. That the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Man (those that are not spiritual and the world) keeps trying to change the order that GOD has set.
As the Apostle of The Most High GOD we are the leadership and builders of the Church worldwide, (1 Corinth. 12:28, "And GOD hath set some in the church, first Apostles”…). This is the authority that GOD has given unto us. It is our job to study and search the scriptures, sit before the LORD, pray and to find out what is the will of GOD concerning The Church, what the Holy Scriptures say and know the proper application of his Word.
As these standards apply to Apostles being the leadership over the Church of The Living GOD, it also applies to Pastors, an Ordained male role from GOD because he made them the “head,” over a particular body. The same scriptures in Genesis and I Corinth. 11:1 -3 apply. Many will disagree, but I ask you to search the scriptures or find an example anywhere in The Word of GOD that can be used to justify their authority as given by GOD. Many women will take up the role as many men also take up the role of an Apostle (not being called or chosen by GOD). Walking in a ministry not according to scripture. It is GOD’s calling and his handpicked selection, and in this we see no women being chosen by GOD, within any scriptures in The Word of GOD.
This standard applies to Bishop as outlined in the Holy scriptures. I Timothy 3:1 (This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work). (Also read Timothy 3:2–7 as it lays out the qualifications for a Bishop, a Man of God (no women)). The scriptures are true by themselves and let every man be a liar if they think or speak otherwise? Are we just reading over scripture and then doing our own thing?
Is this male Chauvinism? No. There is only GOD and the Word of GOD, and its application by the Spirit, and by the Word of GOD. Has GOD slighted his daughters in any way? No. Do we dishonor them? Not in this understanding. Are they restricted from the Ministry? No. A woman can be called by GOD, to be a Prophet, Teacher or Evangelist. They can’t be an Apostle or a Pastor as that is the head over the body and ministry leadership role, as previously discussed. Can a woman be an overseer over a body for a time (see 1 Cor 1:11, Chloe) yes. This can also happen, where there are no males, or no males seasoned enough to be over a work, or until GOD raises up a man (spiritually) to fulfill this role for that portion of The Body of Christ.
Because of this misunderstanding of leadership or head in the House of GOD, it carries over into the Natural concerning marriage. That is why you see many marriages that are failing because many women, or sisters that are trying to take on or operate in a role that is not theirs. GOD set their place in order in Genesis and yet we see how the world and religious world has tried to change this and the House of GOD following suit. It is an action of pride, self-will and promotion, the lack of proper teaching, poor leadership and influence of the devil among the children of GOD.
Many do not understand that marriage is an earthly or natural bond. God set the order in Gen 2:24 (Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh). This is not so in the Spirit. In Matt 22:30, Christ clearly explains that marriage is an earthly bond (For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven). The only bond or obligation any of the Children of GOD will have in the resurrection is unto GOD (the earthly bond of marriage will no longer exist).
It is upon GOD's anointed Apostles to research, define, outline by the Holy Scriptures/Holy Bible/Word of GOD and by the Spirit of GOD what is GOD's will for the True Born Again Children of GOD, and the overall House of GOD. We must not allow the “world” to dictate the order or structure as it applies by the WORD to The Church of GOD. It is on us to provide “Righteous Teaching.” Especially during these “Last and evil days” when many would seek to pervert The Word of GOD with foolishness and false doctrine, bringing these things into The House of GOD.
We must speak truth according to and by the Holy Spirit and Word of GOD no matter what others will say and do, as we understand we must give an answer to GOD. To GOD be the GLORY and The HONOR and The PRAISE.
These things that are spoken are true and I ask that you seek the LORD if there be anything else or contrary to that which is being given by The WORD, or by The Spirit. Search the Scriptures! Get out of tradition and get into The Word of GOD!
