How can we have a relationship with someone we know nothing about? Everything that Christ received of the Father he spoke and taught unto us. If we receive Christ we receive GOD the Father that sent him. Man has and always will pervert the teachings of Christ as received from the GOD the Father for their own purposes. John focused on the relationship between GOD, Christ and Man (John 5:19 - 47). We must truly understand this relationship if we are going to serve GOD in Spirit and in Truth. There is no relationship with the Father except through his Son Jesus Christ! Listed below are some questions that we must ask ourselves concerning our relationship with GOD. After that are scriptures for the lesson:
- Who is GOD to you?
- Do you know and believe that GOD is with you?
- How do you worship GOD?
- *Note: GOD so loved the world, that he sent his Son to reconcile us (believers) back to him (GOD the Father)!
